St. Margaret’s C of E Junior School
Choir
Choir meet every Monday after school, with children from every year group joining in. We warm up our voices and then have fun learning a range of songs from different genres. Our favourite songs are from musicals and films, most recently High School Musical, Mary Poppins Returns and of course, The Greatest Showman! Over the course of the year, we perform for lots of different audiences, including parents, residents of Cherry Tree Lodge, children at Briar Hill and in assemblies at school.

Singing for the children at Briar Hill
In the last week before Easter, we visited Briar Hill to perform ‘This is Me’. We also joined in with their Singing Practice assembly, which was really fun!
Spring Concert for Parents
This half term, we invited our parents in for a special show, where we performed four songs. We chose the songs together and practised really hard, including learning Makaton for ‘This is Me’ from The Greatest Showman.
