It is important to read daily with your child, decoding words and discussing the content of the text, as this will have the greatest impact on your child's reading and writing progress as well as opening doors for them to be able to access all other areas of learning within the curriculum. You will find some helpful advice in the front of their home-school reading diary. The YEAR GROUP PAGES provide information about your child's curriculum, the essential knowledge organisers with key vocabulary and key information to help them learn and remember more.

Homework is online via TEAMS which can be accessed via your child's welearn365 account. BBC Bitesize and Oak Academy also provide additional learning online. As always, we recommend that you check the content and ensure your child is appropriately supported when accessing online material.

If you want to know more about our purposeful Briar Hill Infant School Curriculum

go to our 'Curriculum' and 'Learning in Action' (in the Federated tab) to understand how we teach and learn.
