Mrs Catto is our Science Lead

Children are naturally curious and love to investigate the world around them in a hands-on way. At Briar Hill we provide exciting and purposeful opportunities for children to explore scientific concepts through a range of practical activities. We encourage them to ask their own questions and plan investigations to help them find answers and discover more about forces, materials and the plants and animals in the world in which we live. With a full programme of extra science events and opportunities our children become confident in their growing identity as 'Super Scientists.'

Our recent federation Science projects competition was celebrated with an online celebration evening for the winners.

You can watch the whole event by clicking on the link below.
