Welcome to Reception

On behalf of the Reception team we would like to offer a very warm welcome to both you and your child. Our Reception page will provide information about some of the fantastic learning your child will experience throughout this year.  All of our inside and outside learning areas provide purposeful experiences so that children can learn and explore through both adult supported and independent investigative playOur bespoke systematic phonics, reading, writing and maths curriculum is taught through carefully planned and progressive steps of learning to secure foundational knowldge.  Our curriculum evokes enquiry and engages children interest. We carefully design our provision to meet the needs of all children.  Whether it's building a tower from Duplo, designing our own forms of transport, talking about and sharing our clever learning with our friends and class adults; the children will be motivated to use all of their Building Learning Power to make their Reception year memorable and meanigful, so that they flourish as a family, love to learn, make memories and shine!
