Our Learning Detectives fulfil the role for a week and support other children in their class by helping them to;

• know and remember more
• practice retrieval of knowledge
• develop recap and summarising skills
• make links with previous/future learning

With guidance from the the class adults and question prompts the Learning Detectives use questions to implement some of our effective pedagogical 'WalkThru' strategies. The Learning Detectives ask questions, probe further to elicit what children have learned and remembered and provide constructive feedback to their peers.
