Briar Hill Infant School
Ms Molyneux is our Computing Leader
At Briar Hill the children learn about computing in many interesting ways such as using and programming beebots, using a camera to take photographs and manipulating them to then create animations using an iPad as well as creating their own powerpoints and videos. Children are taught, and regularly reminded, of how to stay safe online at school and at home.
Examples of Computing learning at Briar Hill Infant School
Children in Year 2 children designed and made a winding mechanism in their DT lessons. This is then used in computing to create an animation of a monkey trying to get his bananas from the bottom of the tree to the top.
