St. Margaret’s CE Junior School is a strong Christian community where all unite and flourish. Our family is guided by God’s teachings of love, courage, hope and service, enabling everyone to thrive as happy and fulfilled individuals. Ignited by God’s Spirit, our children shine as a light in the world.

In 2016 our two schools federated to provide a seamless educational journey from Briar Hill Infant School to St Margaret’s CE Junior School. We are proud to remain very much at the heart of our community and continue to be a popular choice for parents. We have a dedicated Federation staff team who work collaboratively to ensure that children are prepared to succeed in all aspects of their lives - personally, socially, morally, physically, spiritually and academically.

Love to Learn

Children are exposed to a vibrant and engaging curriculum designed to deliver educational excellence, to inspire and capture imaginations, and to ignite their love of learning.

We carefully build upon prior learning so children can see how the pieces of the curriculum jigsaw fit together to deepen understanding and secure solid foundations of knowledge to build upon year on year.

Learning is adapted appropriately enabling all children to access all aspects of the curriculum so that they become confident and independent learners, and in turn, fulfil their future aspirations and ambitions.

Make Memories

Our curriculum and wider curriculum offer is planned to provide a wonderful breadth of opportunities and experiences to develop their cultural capital.  We capitalise on every opportunity for children to experience the awe, wonder, magic and beauty of the amazing world we live in. With this, we hope that children and families leave our schools with lasting memories to cherish.

Shine

We give equal importance to creating a positive ethos and environment so that our children are happy, supported and nurtured to shine in their own way. We want all of our children to experience that sense of achievement whether that is for reaching a personal goad, for working hard, for persevering, showing kindness or for being courageous. We want them to be the best version of themselves.
